I am a life long crafter who grew up making with my mother, grandmother, father and grandfather. I have made jewellery for many years but really became hooked on wire work about 5 years ago. I love the versatility, flexibility and durability of the wire to be able to create something very delicate or very strong with the same medium.

I am a guest designer with Jewellery Maker a TV channel and I love every minute. You get to explore your creativity and get challenged in ways that you never would challenge yourself. I suppose that my signature is wire sculptures and I love creating the 3D form, along with scrolls which I seem to be able to get into most things.

I teach several wirework courses from beginner level up to advanced, covering most wire work techniques including wire weaves, basic techniques, working with cabachons, prong setting and sculptures. I love working with people who are keen to learn and are craft minded regardless of their experience level.

One of the maddest things I undertook was starting the new job at Jewellery Maker a few weeks prior to my wedding to my wonderful husband Jon. It is so important to have the support and help of your loved ones and I couldn't ask for anyone better than Jon who has encouraged and supported me through all of my ventures especially creating my first independent DVD, Wire Dragons.
